Is 1995's MORTAL KOMBAT the greatest video game movie of all time? For decades, it held the title without a real challenger in any direction. Its own sequel is terrible. The Resident Evil films weren't anything close to what fans were looking for. Assassin's Creed, Warcraft, Rampage, many have tried, many have failed. I'm not saying Mortal Kombat is STILL the greatest video game movie of all time (that's another conversation for another time), but I AM saying that it's dope. On this week's episode of Mortal Kombat Monday, my good buddy Captain McKay returns to talk all about the first ever live action representation of MK on the big screen. This video teaches your child how to blend 2 short vowel letters and to read 3 letter Words Blending letters together is how children read words. This is how children can decode unfamiliar words when reading using the letter sounds and then blending the sounds together to read words. 

This video teaches Blending. First with 2 Letters and then sounding out words. The video goes over Short Vowel A, E, I, O, U 2 letter Blends and 3 letter words. This video shows your child to use both letter sounds and word families to help him/her blend 3 letters together to read words. Reading 3 Letters words is taught by moving a Consonant closer and closer to Short Vowel Word Family Endings. Blending sounds to make words is a learning process. The first step of blending is when your child states the correct sounds for the letter characters that are being blended for example the word, "Cat" will often first be read as "C"- "at." With practice your child will learn to further blend the sounds to correctly say "Cat." Your child will learn to read 3 letter Short Vowel A words in the Practice Reading Book. (Practice Reading Book 1: Pages 1-26).Your child can also practice blending the sounds to read words with magnetic letters. Use the Short Word families endings and add different Consonants to the front of the different word endings.

Sight Word are Not Phonics words. These words should be Memorized. These are the most common words children will encounter when reading. If children memorize these words they will read faster and understand what they are reading better.

In this travel day, flight and Disney hotel check-in vlog, we start out by travelling from London Victoria to London Gatwick. At Gatwick we check-in to the Hilton at London Gatwick hotel before getting dinner at Giraffe in the south terminal. 

The next morning we set-off on our first magical day of the trip! I surprise Gary with a premium economy upgrade, just before we get to the Virgin Atlantic check-in desk at the north terminal. Moooorning! Hello, welcome to a new Walt Disney World vlog series. My friend Gary and I are heading to Walt Disney World for 10 days which we are very excited about.

This has been a long time coming. My friend Gary and I booked this trip a while ago and we are very excited about the adventures that we have in store! 

We've got lots of new dining reservations, lots of new things to experience. Star Wars land namely and yeah, its gonna be a lot of fun!

There's a couple of surprises in store for Gary which is why I'm starting this vlog at home and not at the airport hotel.

So, we are going down to the airport hotel tonight which is the Hilton, staying overnight and then flying out tomorrow with Virgin Atlantic.

As far as Gary understands we are in economy right at the back of the plane. 

However, we are flying premium economy and we're in the bubble which is the second floor of the plane and Gary is not the biggest fan of flying.

He really struggles from a mental health perspective and the fact that he's quite tall he doesn't really get comfortable and I'm really hoping this makes a world of a difference.

I'm very excited and I've been lucky enough to have a premium economy seat before and I think Gary's really gonna enjoy it.

So, that's the first surprise! I'm gonna have planned to tell him just before check-in so hopefully that goes to plan.

And the second surprise is that he thinks we are staying at Pop Century and he has every right to think that because thats what we booked

 and I sent him the booking confirmation so he could see it obviously and that was like eight months ago

Because I have an annual pass, about three months before you travel you can sometimes get an annual pass discount

Which is why I tend to book my trips last minute just because thats when the annual pass discount is out.

I called up and I said '"hi, we've got a reservation and I was just wondering if there's an annual pass discount I can apply"

The cast member very kindly said yes and I'll also let you know that our room rates have been reduced recently so you're gonna save a bit of money

I was like oh okay well whilst I've got you on the phone, with all these discounts and stuff, how much would it cost to stay at Port Orleans Riverside?

And there was almost no difference in it. So I was like, okay! Let's book it! So we are staying at Port Orleans Riverside.

We stayed there in 2016. It is one of my favourite hotels and Gary thinks its probably the best hotel that we've stayed at together.

So I'm really excited to tell him about that.

I don't think he'll expect it either because we've obviously stayed there before.

Can't wait! I'm leaving very soon, I've just got to walk Eddie.

My gorgeous boy who I'm going to miss very much! And just put some last bits and bobs in my case! 

Getting to Gatwick is a bit of a pain for me because I'm about a 2 and a half hour drive away and because I share a car I can't take the car

Taking public transport or taxis and stuff is very expensive and very "cufuffeley".

Well actually the trains not too bad but it is very "cufuffeley". Trying to take like potentially 3 bags on the London underground or like trying to go around London is just a bit of a nightmare

But anyway! We will move on, we will go to Disney, we will go to the airport first and then to Disney and ahh! I am so excited!

Just got into London, I'm now in a black cab on my way to London Victoria station to get the Gatwick Express

I'm enjoying my little scenic view of London with my CRB checked black cab driver

(Adam) That's easy! Adam's been telling me all about the black cab business and everything and how they are CRB checked

I haven't taken a black cab in like 15 years so it's been really cool and all my cases fit in here very nicely 

Made it to Victoria and just waiting for Gary to arrive. Hopefully he should be here in just a mo

Really nice cab driver, he was really really cool and it's kind of nice taking a London cab, I felt like a right tourist

(Adam) It was just the "I'm wondering...I'm wondering..there!"

(Gary) I'll have you know that is a puffin, that's not just a bird

(Adam) I was gonna call it a pelican but I didn't know what it was. I said I'm under the spit fire sign with a bird on it

Funnily enough because Gary's train was delayed, we missed our train to Gatwick but its fine!

There's a train every half an hour from Gatwick on the Gatwick Express which is good so hopefully our tickets are both valid

(Gary) I'm here but I'm thinking about Disney World, I'm thinking about Star Wars Land

Yeah! We are very excited for Galaxy's Edge. We've got a whole...

He says the actual name and I say Star Wars Land!

Yeah that's fine, you can call it Star Wars land. We've got an abundance of new dining reservations we've never done before

(Gary) You've been doing this a long time

Well yeah but how many times have we been now? This is number 5?

(Adam) 5 to Disney World and even in that amount of time we've ended up getting into a system of doing the same things

And we're trying to break that habit this trip by doing completely different things 

New shows, adjustments to shows, sky-liner, you name it, its all coming

(Adam) New restaurants so, we're heading to Gatwick, obviously you already know that, but then we're gonna go check in to the Hilton for our over night stay

And hopefully get some dinner at Giraffe.

(Adam) I like Giraffe. Oh yeah you love a Giraffe!

(Adam) Yeah girl! Next stop, Disney World!

Oh I've got 2 cases, for the very purpose of Gary and I always struggle coming back as its either overweight or we can't fit it all in

(Gary) Who knew that pins cost so much weight 

(Adam) I did when you spent $450 last time 

oh I spent more than that actually. It was only what I told you.

(Adam) So we've got our own little cabin. Good after.... Oh my god! Oh no we haven't! There's someone there!

(Gary) Oh do you wanna know go next to the window

There isn't actually anyone in this carriage, it was the reflection from another train but I was like oh my god what have I done?!

I'm still thinking about Star Wars land *chuckling*
