emotional um i gotta tell you something um  

is it me or is celine dion overtaking this is she 
overtaking this or is it supposed to be this way i  

don't know brand new to the song is she supposed 
to be taking a lead on this song it almost seems  

like he was supposed to um but she's completely 
completely overtaken this i mean she's got it  

you know her voice you know how how 
powerful it is um you can barely make i mean  

i don't i mean you know i don't know how 
old he is um presuming that's jumpier  

jumpier um and and janette reynolds she's not 
she's not uh she hasn't made her presence yet  

i believe but celine is really really going 
up really going up and really delivering at  

an emotional level to an extent of almost taking 
lead almost a second lead on this really really  

good i love the bass the subtleties in the bass 
love the instrumentation of the piano coming in  

nicely and the strings the violins make giving 
more of a sadder type of you know thing going on

oh my god guys i have to pause 
it here i'm gonna break down  

oh my god she's incredible this 
woman she is truly incredible

it's going to get approved it's going to get 
approved um if i would have continued i think  

i would have con i don't know guys i don't know 
this is incred she's the connection that she has  

to this song is just truly amazing and not only 
is she pointing all of her heart and her emotions  

in this performance but you can truly feel 
everything that she's on key so good so good  

she's on key um with the instrumentation giving 
her all of that momentum too at the same time  

oh my god guys this is gonna be hard to get over

i don't think i've ever seen 
anything like this before  

as far as taking such an emotional toll on my 
on on what i saw and and what and what i heard  

here um it's just incredible i gotta tell you 
something everything completely shifted everything  

completely shifted um when it came to momentum um 
in janette reynolds court when she came down um  

it just became a different song it became a 
different song and i wasn't expecting to to not  

only get uh all of those emotional inclinations 
and feel the way i felt throughout the song but  

how real it became um and um and then seeing 
how how she was so connected with the song  

as she sang it and i do not know one word she 
said guys because i obviously french ain't my  

my language it's not my native language but you 
can truly feel you can truly feel everything  

um come to come to light when the instrumentation 
hits you a certain way and her voice does it her  

voice is just incredible guys incredible 
incredible and then you get celine dion  

who's trying to hold her composure at the same 
time singing having an additional additional  

um touch of sadness with her voice and um she 
could barely even keep up she could barely even  

keep up i mean i had to i had to take a break 
and i had to to to get something because i had  

to recuperate a little bit guys and this has 
only had this only has happened one other time  

with uh lady gaga's reaction and um i didn't know 
this was going to happen this time so there's a  

first for a lot of things um but this time it 
was a second and this one got me really good  

let's look at the lyrics real quick uh it was a 
long video but i now i know why now i know why  

still a step a small step still a jump and i'm

of some sort and um and knowing that the person 
has passed on and moved on but they can no longer

of you know the separation that exists

she's singing this with all of that oh my god  

guys what you guys have done to me what you guys

song nothing no no meaning or nothing maybe you

released as a vinyl um a little higher at least  

the same that year the song entered canadian 
songwriters hall of fame in 2003 by the way  

it was not until 1975 the song made an impression 
when janet reno made it a masterful interpretation  

during the closing show of the festivities of the 
national day of quebec on mount royal as part of  

the show's tribute to the author i wonder if this
