SHAOLIN MASTER | The Way To Self Mastery (MUST WATCH) Motivational Speech 2021 | Shi Heng Yi

Talk given on August 27, 1978 by Swami Shraddhananda. Swami was a very animated speaker and shows his fine sense of humor. (The recording was made outdoors, so there are occasional airplane sounds, but they don't last long.)

He was a disciple of Swami Shivananda and knew many of the direct Disciples of Sri Ramakrishna.

Swami Shraddhananda was sent to America in 1957 as an Assistant Minister of the Vedanta Society of San Francisco. He gave lectures and classes in San Francisco and at Berkeley and Sacramento branch Centers. In 1970, when the Sacramento Branch Center became an independent Vedanta Society, the Swami was appointed its Minister and Teacher.

Also a Musician, Swami directed a choir and introduced Bengali and Sanskrit songs of The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. He authored nine books on education, religion and philosophy and contributed numerous articles in English and Bengali on religious and philosophical topics to several periodicals through the years. His last book, “Seeing God Everywhere” was published after his passing away.

When Sergeant Hamish Macbeth is sent to investigate reports that the wealthy new laird of the remote Naglar House has disappeared, north-west Scotland is hit by the worst storm in living memory. The road is washed away, phone lines are down, mobile reception is dead, and his police radio is out of order. He is trapped with the laird's high-class house guests. Then he discovers the laird's body.
Forced to remain overnight at the house, he interviews each of the guests and pieces together an alarming picture of clandestine infidelity, vicious jealousy, deadly revenge, lust, greed and fear. It begins to look like all of the guests had good reason to want the laird dead, but which one of them actually did the deed?
