In the last six days alone, the Ukrainian army has regained control of 29 towns and villages in the Kherson Oblast in the south of the country. As a result of the counter-offensive in September and October, Russian troops were also forced out of the Kharkiv region in the northeast of Ukraine and the northern part of the Donetsk Oblast. Russian soldiers surrender en masse.
